Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching
I am incredibly honored to have been selected as the national awardee for the state of Georgia for Science teaching. A huge thank you to my students and their parents for "buying into" this research program and trusting the process. I am so fortunate to have the support of students, parents, colleagues, administration and our district.

The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) are the highest honors bestowed by the United States government specifically for K-12 science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teaching. The Awards were established by Congress in 1983.
